awesome!!! all we have up here are longnosed and needle nosed but they get 5 feet long or so. They rarely bite a lure and we just bowfish them. God they gotta eat something to get that big tho.

I use minnows, but …
I use minnows, but where I usually fish for gar they are ALL OVER the place on top of the water so you could actually use a lure they go after anyhing, use BIG hooks for them though or triple hooks
