After a 20 year absence the Humblefisherman returns to a favorite small central Alberta creek. Armed with a single fly, the orange stimulator. The Humblefisherman targets both brook trout as well as brown trout during a spring golden stonefly hatch. Targeting the shade for active dry fly fishing the Humblefisherman finds the fishing to as productive as it was two decades earlier.

Tiger trout are a …
Tiger trout are a cross of brook trout and brown trout. They’re sterile and grow faster than either of it’s compoenents.
Their primary food is fish and they’re great management tool for controlling rough fish populations without worrying about them outbreeding indigenous populations.
